New Zealand is renowned for offering quality adventure-caving and Blackwater Rafting trips. This is one of the largest industries in our adventure tourism sector and there is a strong demand for suitably qualified cave guides. Surprisingly, few polytechnic outdoor education and adventure guiding courses offer a caving component.
The NZCS provides contract instructors, qualification based programmes, and caving equipment for tertiary programmes.
